We love a beautifully done tetradic color palette! And we're all about @pretty.realistic 's take on this palette!

Creating a high contrast palette, Tetradic is similar to the Double Split Complementary as it’s made up of 4 equally spaced colors around the color wheel, containing 2 sets of Complementary colors.

How to do this on your own:

👍🏼 Adjust the proportions of colors so you have 1 dominant color with the remaining as accent colors, this will tone down the color scheme as a whole.

👍🏼 Use neutral colors for your walls and use the colors more as accents throughout.

Is there anything more romantic than a clear tented reception and twinkle lights?! 🥂

We swoon over a split complementary color palette!

Similar to a Complementary color palette, Split Complementary uses 1 main color and both colors the the left + right of its complement instead of the complement itself!

Check out these tips from @pretty.realistic for a Split Complementary color palette:
👍🏼Use the 2 complementary colors as dominant colors + the contrasting color as the accent.
👍🏼For a more vibrant palette, use the contrasting color as the dominant + the 2 additional colors as accents.

We love a Complimentary palette... especially with such fun colors!

@pretty.realistic shares that using 2 colors opposite each other on the color wheel creates a Complementary color palette! Typically one of the colors will intensify the other, providing contrast.

Check out her tips for a Complementary color palette:

👉🏼 Using subdued tones of pure complementary colors can feel less intense than using the pure compelling colors as is.

👉🏼 Make one color more dominant while the other acts as the accent color.

👉🏼 Incorporate white, grey or neutral colors to keep the space from being overwhelmed.
