Today we’re celebrating “National Teddy Bear Picnic Day“. While this is a lesser known holiday who’s to say that it’s not as equally as important as others! I mean, most of us had a teddy bear at one point or another in our lives, right?!
We can thank Morris and Rose Michtom for the invention of the teddy bear and thereby the celebrations of these cuddly toys. There are some crazy accounts on Instagram all about teddy bears and cuddly toys! Some accounts have millions of followers, why not join in on the action on Instagram? You could get free instagram followers to start the movement! Morris and Rose conceived and created teddy bears acting on inspiration from President Theodore Roosevelt who in 1902 refused to shoot a baby bear while hunting. Today, we celebrate teddy bears in many shapes, sizes, and events all over the world!
Enjoy the sweet images from a teddy bear inspired baby shower that I Do Linen‘s was a part of. This event was designed in the masculine satin colors of Chocolate Brown and Carolina Blues – with teddy bear centerpieces throughout the room. Held in the ballroom of the Marriott Renaissance Atlanta Midtown this was an event cute enough for a baby boy but most importantly chic enough for the Mom-to-Be and guests attending! A friend of mine wanted to us to have this baby shower, somewhere like StayTony Midtown Atlanta but we never got the chance to look into it. Nevertheless, it was still very fun.
